CARL HERMAN WITH SON EMIL AND FAMILY
This circa 1907 photo shows Great Great Grandfather Karl Herman Mosch on the top step of his home in Germania, on a farm later called Mosch Hollow. This home was built in 1870, the year that he and Caroline immigrated to the US with their three oldest children. She died on 06 Aug 1899.
This photo also includes Carl and Caroline’s third Son Emil Earnest Mosch, his wife, Wilhelmina Kortz and family.
Carl Herman Mosch Sr sold 65 acres of farm land to Emil in1886. Emil and his wife, Wilhelmina Kortz, built their own home very close to the original Mosch home. Emil’s home burned about 25 years later.
He and Wilhelmina then relocated to the Frinks Station Farm near Coudersport.

Thanks for correcting the erroneous death date for Frank Jacob Mosch, in an earlier post of this photo. This is a great post, old photo and full of information!
