On this Memorial weekend, I would like to memorialize and honor all the people in my life who have given so much. Thank you for your service to our country.
My Father George Leroy McCaslin,
my husband Gary Miller,
my grand-daughter Dr. Ashley Dotson,
brothers in-law Tom Wilcox and Greg Shank,
Uncle Bob and Aunt Rita Erway Barnett,
Uncle Norman Goodenough,
one of my favorite cousins Edgar Emil Tucker,
Uncles Frank and Walter Mosch and
great-great grandfather Jacob Kortz. This is the kicker, Jacob came to America to avoid conscription but at age 40 took the place of a Mr. Bodler and joined the 99th Reg. Bucktail Division of Pennsylvania. He must have really believed in this Country!
