“Mrs Eloise Gustwick Mosch, wife of Frank Mosch, and daughter of Mr and Mrs Stanley Gustwick of Coudersport, died Wednesday morning at the Jamestown hospital where she had been a terrible sufferer for the past few weeks. The body was brought to Coudersport Wednesday evening and the funeral will be held Friday morning.
Eloise Gustwick was born in Roulette eighteen years ago and for the past ten years has resided with her parents in Coudersport.
The first of June this year she graduated the Coudersport High School completing a four year course with high honors.
On the eighth of June she became the bride of Frank Mosch, one of the prosperous young farmers of this vicinity, and life held out for them all that is good and true.
Mrs Mosch’s health had not been of the best for some little time and about four weeks ago she went to Jamestown where she submitted to operation for goitre. Pneumonia developed and later a gangrenous condition in the right arm which necessitated its amputation above the elbow. She made a heroic struggle for life and every possible method of medical skill was employed.
The deceased was not only an attractive young woman, but one who enjoyed the love and admiration of friends who are legion. Life held out to her many hears of happiness and the news of her death has been received in Coudersport with profound sorrow. The Enterprise and every reader will extend the deepest sympathy to the bereaved husband and sorrowing family.”
Frank’s second wife was MARGERY GENEA FARLEY MOSCH (1901-1974)
Frank’s third wife was NAOMI WEIMER McLATCHIE MOSCH (1902-1997)
Frank Mosch purchased the Frinks Station farm, Coudersport, from his parents, Emil and Wihelmina Mosch 13 Mar 1920.
Frank and Eloise were married 08 Jun 1921 and Eloise died just three months later, Sep 1921.
Due to Frank’s misfortune, his sister Hertha Mosch and husband Egbert McElroy, returned to Potter County in 1921 to assist Frank with the farming. Frank eventually sold the farm to the McElroys on 02 Jan 1924.
