Paul Lynn Gardner I would very much like to help you in the genealogy. Unfortunately, Wendy Guinta and I were given limited information on the Mauz family as we grew up.
- Ted Mauz was the only child of Edward and Emma Mauz who came as pastry bakers to NYC from Germany approximately 1922.
We have photo albums filled with unidentified German Mauz relatives.
- Edward and Emma Mauz moved to Brooklyn, Pa from Brooklyn, NY when Ted Mauz (our dad) was in the US Army during WW II.
- Our Grandfather Edward was killed in a car accident near their Brooklyn, Pa home.
- Our Grandmother Emma later married George Saulter of Coudersport.
- George Saulter was the grandfather of Suzanne Saulter Mosch. Suzanne is married to Dr George Mosch II.
- Marla Spencer’s biological father is Dr Joseph Kiel. His parents were German immigrant descendants in Erie, Pa. Joe is presently a Veternarian in the Seattle, Wa area. Marla was raised in Scottsdale, AZ with Wendy Guinta and her second husband Larry Guinta.

Leslee Jane Masolotte, this is very interesting.
- Jason Leet is my nephew, and his uncle Everett C. Saulter is George E. Saulter's son.
There are a few connections here. Maybe Jason can add to this?

Jason Leet

- Everett would be my great uncle as his wife Mary Saulter (Leet) was my dad's (James Leet) aunt.
- My grandfather (Walter Leet) and Mary Leet Saulter were bother and sister.
I am not sure the connection to George Saulter - it could have been Everett's father.
- Maybe we can get some insight from Betty Saulter, as her husband Barney is Everett's brother.
This is definitely an interesting connection between the two families though. Betty Leet would dad know any of this?

Suzanne Mosch might be able to add some more information. I think that
- Suzanne’s parents perished in a car accident so George Saulter raised her. I remember meeting several members of the lovely Saulter family after my Grandma Mauz married George.
I hope I am getting the names correct!!

- My mother's parent's, George and Annabelle Saulter took me in and eventually adopted me. When I was 10 years old my grandmother, Annabelle passed away. At that time their son Lavern and family moved in with Daddy and me. A couple years later Daddy met Emma Mauz, Wendy and Leslie's grandmother, and they were married. I continued to live with Lavern (Barney) and Betty with children Sharie, Eddie and Dale. The rest is history as I later would marry my high school sweetheart, George Mosch II.
