Nancy Mariah Hunt Morley, wife of Hastings.
born Feb. 17, 1803 probably in NY; died Feb. 20, 1879 in Raymond, PA.
This is the only picture we have of the founding mother of our Morley family. She left everyone and everything she knew to come here with her husband and children about 1838; gave birth to three more children here and also raised at least one grandchild. Nancy Hunt Morley, I salute you!

Jeannette Buck Just found this. It is obviously not the original-- which I dearly wish I could find. William S. Morley was a son of Nancy and Hastings Morley-- and my great-great grandfather.
