HONOLULU (AP) - Nine planes and two ships searched an area of the Pacific on Monday for a C135 Air Force jet missing with 24 persons, including 12 civilians.
The four-engine jet disappeared Sunday during a 2,227-mile flight from Pago Pago, American Samoa, to Hickam Air Force Base near Honolulu.
The plane was based at Wright Patterson.
