Hi,John had a wonderful visit yesterday with our cousin, John Knapp, and his wife Linda. John is the grandson of Mabel Williams Knapp Mabel was the daughter of George Ebbert Williams. (I'm sure you know that.)
You are much alike You would enjoy knowing him. I've known him since we were kids -- he is about five years younger than me. He has a good many traits I attribute to the Williams genes. ????
Boy, what a summer I am having i-- just immersed in family. and I love it.
????

I think you might even resemble each other a bit.

Wow! I guess!

Interesting, huh?
I was about to write to you for some basic information about Don Perry, husband of Mabel Morley. I'm working on some Perrys, wanted to see if Don is among them. Do you have, and would you mind sharing, birthdate/place, parents, ? anything that might help locate him?

John is in 4th stage agent orange triggered lymphoma. Although if he wasn't so frank about it you would never guess it right now. He wants to get together with us again this summer and we are going to make it happen

Well, let me look. Don wasn't from around here. He married Mack Morley (wife Eugertha Everett) 's daugher Mable --and they lived in Gold for a good many years. I baby sat for them a lot as did my sisters. They he took them to South Carolina to be near a particular church and preacher.

We weren't very happy about that --- but he was still Don--we liked him.
I only have the marriage, nothing about him.

His parents were Robert Perry and Ethel Porter Perry. He was born in Arkport, NY on November 24th, 1926
He died last Friday-- the 22nd. in S C where he will be buried with Mable. She died Nov.6, 2005
I don't know anything more about him than that.
Had to laugh when John Knapp came the other day. He was about 10 minutes later than he said he would be. His wife came up the steps ahead of him 'OH, he is just fussing. He is late! We ran in to all that construction --- "
I laughed and said, "Well, he's a Williams. Williams folks don't like to be late!"
They both looked at me in surprise. "Really?"
so we were into that discussion immediately.
He is a talker--and fun.
anyway.
Sorry I don't have more information about Don Perry. To be honest, I doubt his kids know much more.
Well, this is the info John's wife has put together. John's parents were George William Knapp (he went by William) and Anna Josephina Agren.
Both are deceased.
John has an older sister, Marianne 2-7- 1941 married John E. Rook
George William was born 1911 and died 1976.
I'll get more detailed info for you .
I remember Bill and Ann. We liked her very much he was quiet and sober and somehow just there, if that makes any sense.
I have 'Mary Ann', no husband. Their father I had as J. William Knapp, from an early pic you posted of him. I probably got the name wrong. Good to have 'George'. Was he an only child?

She died when John (my visitor) was 13
