Carolyn Busch Rosenblooms sold "Levis" jeans in the middle and late 50s. We all rushed to buy them. They were cool!!

Tim Berglund Can’t remember what year they closed, I think the mid 90’s but, they had a big sale on everything. It was Mary’s kids and other family who were liquidating. I bought the last 10 cans of water proofer and also gave $10 for these three boxes of old ( and I mean OLD) shoelaces. Different sizes & colors...

Dale Ulkins Uncle Bill Carey was a really good person. A bit frugal, perhaps, but a favorite of all ours. He always passed through Louisiana each winter and stayed with us for awhile. He loved to travel and had seen most of the world.

Dale Ulkins The four of them visited us in Baton Rouge. We had a delightful time. We always visited with your parents when we went home. We really became close. Your dad would show me the snowmobile. Your mom was so sweet.

Rebecca Stamilio Ehret I loved Mr Carey! I would pick the dead flowers off his petunias and he would tell me about his life and travels. He always brought me back something fun. I still have the metal bandaid container with coins from around the world he would give me. ??
