Dawn M Newton June died last year about a month before Bill died. They were the last living children of Alva & Lilly Thompson.

Dawn M Newton Lena was also Bill & Roy's sister, daughter of Alva & Lillian Dingman Thompson. Their other daughter was Dorothy Thompson VanPelt, R Lee's mother.

John Christy Wetzel Don't you just love looking at... June... way back, and knowing her life story, experientially, especially good people! And even though I never knew June, these comments, memories shared, are simply precious.
A special part of the photo project in genealogy. If only I'd have caught this passion 50... well, say 40, years ago!

Dawn M Newton I thought, in looking at June's picture, that she never seemed to "age". I always thought she was such a beautiful lady.

Carol Metzger Wilkerson June was lovely. I remember her husband Jim and son "Jimmy Schnepp" from when they'd come visit the Thompsons. Can't remember if there was another child.
