So, the open area, behind the women and children, is the area where Dwight and Ross streets would later become, as well as the high school? And if so, it appears that the clothespin factory would have been about where the house at Othner's Pond now sits. Here is an 1893 Landowner map that shows that area, and we can see that Mill Creek came into town, closer to route 6 (Second Street)

John Christy Wetzel I grew up right where it says 'FAIR GROUND'. I mean, RIGHT there. I always thought the Fair Ground was more where Dietricks were, at the end of Center Park ST. And,... Gordnier Estate? That's a big area. And,... so many familiar names, but 'W. Angwood' is new to me. Will check that out.
