I was correct in my calculations for the location of David and Laura Snyder's property location. Yesterday in the records room in the Gunsberger Building
I found the deed of sale of the property in Hebron twp. to David and Laura. In it is described the exact location. You may recall Mitchell Hollow Road that ran passed the old rifle range. After the rifle range it took a turn and ran directly west, with Troupe Road running north, and continues over to the Ayres Hill Road.
That area near Troupe Road is where their property was located.
I also found the deed of sale when Laura sold it to George Gates in 1885 after David died from pneumonia.
