Hi Everyone! I need some help to possibly identify a young girl in this picture. It concerns the McCracken family of Ulysses. This girl has my mother on her lap and appears to be a close relative. My mother was born in 1922, so the girl looks to be about 12 or 13 years old or so.
The next picture is of my great Uncle Basil Lionel McCracken b. 1909 and here too, visits my mother. Basil and the young girl look very much alike and in my estimation are brother and sister.
Basil's parents were my great, great grandfather, Benjamin Elliott McCracken b. in Gaines. He is seen here with his second wife, Clara May McCaslin b. in Westfield, PA. Clara, is Basil's mother. But the young girl looks related as well. I think she might be Charlotte May McCracken Snook. Her husband was Rodmar Oaks Snook. Anyone know the Snook family? Or the McCaslin family? Is she one of yours? Let me know what you think. Thanks! To be clear...it's the young girl in the first picture I'm looking to identify. The toddler is my mother in both pictures.

Dawn Wick Schiller Alice was my 1st cousin 3X removed. Interesting post, Dawn; it fills in some information for me, thank you. I'm especially interested in 'Snook', a family name that shows up in my ancestry right at a junction of uncertainty with Wetzels, ca 1780.

Dawn Wick Schiller I'll have to look on Ancestry for that name, thanks. My grandfather William Bump had brothers up there. He married Madeleine Ruth Jennings. Buried in Ulysses Cemetery
