Jim Carpenter
My grandad, when he worked for his father-in-law, Elvin Weimer, who was Mittie's father.
Gramp later went to work for North Penn, where he drove a semi hauling pipe for pipeline construction in the 1940s, '50s and '60s.
Unfortunately, he passed in early 1964, when I was 12, and I never got to go hunting with him. He taught me how to fish, however, and we loved going up Fishing Creek.
