A PIONEER GONE
On Thursday, the 19th inst., death came to the relief of Henry Dingman, one of the oldest settlers of Hebron township, after a long and painful sickness.
Mr. Dingman was 72 years of age and he had lived on the farm where he died about forty years. He was a man of rugged character, respected by all his neighbors and acquaintances for his integrity and benevolence. He enlisted in Co. G. 53 P.V., under Capt. Arch F. Jones and served to the end of the War. His health was almost destroyed while in the service and for a number of years has been a constant sufferer from the effects of his disabilitites. A devoted wife and one son, Isaac, are the only survivors of the family.

There is also a Jeff Irvin of Olean. You might want to take a look at his profile-trees on ancestry. I've found some ebooks and histories with a google search, no exact locations other than a gristmill built by a Henry Dingman at the mouth of Dingman Run.
