Ebenezer Hitchcock, 89, died yesterday noon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elmer Hall of the Rock City road, of complication of diseases.
Surviving him are two daughters,
- Mrs. Elmer Hall with whom he made his home and
- Mrs. Joseph Demskie of Olean,
two sons,
- Edward Hitchcock of the Two Mile and
- Flavil Hitchcock of Olean,
two sisters,
- Mrs. Susie Potter of Ellicottville and
- Mrs. Emma Laidlaw of Franklinville,
and twenty grandchildren.
Mr. Hitchcock was born in Allegany and lived in this vicinity all his life.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elmer Hall. Rev. G.R.Williamson will officiate. Burial will be made in the Protestant cemetery, Allegany.
