He was born in Barbourville and was employed by Glenmore Distilleries Co. Survivors include his wife, Jo Nell Runyon of Hartford; two sons, Glenn Runyon of Owensboro and Steve Runyon of Hartford; a daughter, Linda Smith of Owensboro; four grandchildren; two brothers, Orville Runyon of Hamilton, Ohio, and Bernice Runyon of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and three sisters, Opal Cavander of Cincinnati, Ohio, Rachel Lewellen of Barbourville and Mary Perkins of Corbin. Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. Burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home..
