He was one of nine children of Hastings & Nancy Hunt Morley of Allegany Twp. Potter Co. Pa. Only 2 brothers survive, James K. and Ephraim Morley of Gold, Pa. He married Sept 11, 1862 to Miss Caroline L. Rogers of Gainesville, N, who survives with a son and daughter, William S. Morley & Mrs. F. E. Andrews, both of Warsaw, NY
