Rev. Clair Statham of Harrison Valley performed the ceremony before an altar banked with garden flowers. The bride, who was given in mar-riage by her father, was lovely in a gown of white satin, with a net yoke, and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil fell from a tiara of lilies of the valley. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and white roses and lilies of the valley. Bridesmaids were Miss Frances Hilfiger, Ulysses, and Miss Patricia Schweigart of Harrison Valley, sister of the groom. They wore pink and rose gowns with white shoulder length veils caught with spring flowers. Maurice Tormey and Reed Russell of Knoxville acted as the groom's attendants. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for about 45 relatives and friends. A three-tiered wedding cake formed the centerpiece for the table.
