Robert Griffin performed the double-ring ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Erwin Potter, Coudersport, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Kennedy, Kenmore, N.Y. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white silk organza with sabrina neckline edged in pearls and crystals, long Chantilly lace sleeves, a front panel, and chapel-length train of tiers of Chantilly lace and organza falling from mid-back caught with two bows. Mrs. Christine Higgins, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Judy Tangelder, and Miss, Barbara Wieczorek, Buffalo, They were attired in -length dresses styled with bodices of and white Cluny lace, and yellow slimline crepe skirts with back floating panels. The bride's mother selected a navy blue suit and navy accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a beige suit with brown accessories. Mike Higgins of Buffalo was best man. Ushers were Bob Johengen, Carl Maier and John Wilkinson, all of Buffalo, and Rod Potter, Coudersport. A reception for 175 guests was held at the Wayside Inn with dancing to music by Joe Provesk and his orchestra. The bride was graduated in 1964 from Coudersport Area High School and in 1965 from BryantStratton, Buffalo, N.Y. The bridegroom was graduated from Canisius High School and College, Buffalo. They will live at Kenmore, N.Y. A rehearsal party was held at the Old Tavern. Mrs. Higgins entertained pre-nuptial party in Buffalo and in Coudersport shower hostesses were Mrs. Joanne Gaberseck, Mrs. Joseph Snyder and Mrs. Phyllis Gaberseck. ----------- Mr. and Mrs. John Welsh and son of Johnsonburg were Sunday visitors here. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goodenough have moved into their new mobile home on Ayers Hill. Mrs. Earl Smith has returned home from N. Tonawanda, where she visited her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith Jr.
