OBITUARY Posted Nov 11, 2011 by chaddlankford MEMORIAL OBITUARY JOHN JACOB KLIMEK, SR. COUDERSPORT- John Klimek, Sr. 66, of Coudersport, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday (May 6, 1959) at Potter County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks. He was born January 5, 1893 in Poland, and came to the United States in 1902. Prior to moving to Coudersport 39 years ago, he was employed by the State Highway Department. His wife Frances, died in July 1957. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James Rossman of Coudersport; five sons, Joseph Klimek of Northumberland, Frank Klimek who is stationed in Germany with the Army, William Klimek, John Klimek, and Robert Klimek all of Coudersport; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday (May 9, 1959) at the Lindhome Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arthur J. Leon, Pastor of St. Eulalia Church officiating.
