First Husband was John Paul Jones of CT., John died abt. 1865 in the Civil War, we believe his death was at Fort Smith, Arkansas. Almira was a nurse or a cook in the Civil War. Only child is Oren Sherman Jones. ---------- 2nd Husband is Corp. Kenney C Lowell (Married before the 1870 census) ---------- DIED LOWELL. On Saturday, June 18th, Mrs. Almira Lowell, aged 38 years, wife of K. C. Lowell, of this town. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord" The funeral services were held in the Court House on Monday, conducted by Rev. Wm.
