He had been in ill health for about six months. Mr. Potter was born in the Town of Independence in 1864, the son of Theodore F. and Lucinda Neal Potter. He was married in 1880 to Carrie Barney, who succumbed in 1933. He is survived by one son, L. F. Potter, Scio, one daughter, Mrs. Rita Potter Seger, Genesee, Pa.; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Potter was a member of the Scio Methodist Church and the Lewisville Lodge 556, F.&A.M., at Ulysses.
