Well, let me look. Don wasn't from around here. He married Mack Morley (wife Eugertha Everett) 's daugher Mable --and they lived in Gold for a good many years. I baby sat for them a lot as did my sisters. They he took them to South Carolina to be near a particular church and preacher.
We weren't very happy about that --- but he was still Don--we liked him.
I only have the marriage, nothing about him.
His parents were Robert Perry and Ethel Porter Perry. He was born in Arkport, NY on November 24th, 1926
He died last Friday-- the 22nd. in S C where he will be buried with Mable. She died Nov.6, 2005
I don't know anything more about him than that.
Had to laugh when John Knapp came the other day. He was about 10 minutes later than he said he would be. His wife came up the steps ahead of him 'OH, he is just fussing. He is late! We ran in to all that construction --- "
I laughed and said, "Well, he's a Williams. Williams folks don't like to be late!"
They both looked at me in surprise. "Really?"
so we were into that discussion immediately.
He is a talker--and fun.

Sorry I don't have more information about Don Perry. To be honest, I doubt his kids know much more.
Thx. I must have met him once, because that is my impression of him, jovial anyway. OTOH, he certainly seems that way in the photos I have of him.

Her birth dayte is Jan. 18, 1927 and her middle name was Isabelle.
She and Don were married on June 4, 1947 in Alfred NY. They met in college there.
I think it was "College" in 1947 but I''m not sure.
Mable was studying animal husbandry --as I expect Don was.
I remember the chatter about a girl studying that.
probably. I pulled a reference to it around 1900 when I was researching a letter written by a distant cousin then, before posting it to FB. I'll check.

My grandsons went to Afred Tech and my granddaughter will begin in about 4 weeks
