Susannah Howard was born in 1767 in Russell Co,VA. She died after 1850 in Logan Co,WV. ] [Notes--see below] She had the following children: Fi Nancy Vance was born on 2 May 1813. She died after 1880. James Brown married Millie Vance, daughter of Abner Vance, Sr. Abner Vance, Sr. married in Russell Co, VA and settled on the Tug River near the present Logan Wyoming Co line. His children were: James, John, Richard, Abner, Jr, Millie, Bettie and three other daughters who married (______) Perry, Francis Browning, and John McCloud. Abner, Sr was hanged for killing (_______) Horton. 2. "Timothy Vance's Hompage", internet.
