Bingham Couple Wed to Former Roulette Man. Mrs. Betty Fanton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellery Ordway, of North Bingham, was married Saturday evening, Oct. 24, 1959, to Raymond C. Varney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Varney, of Roulette. The Rev. Clair Statham, pastor of the Hammondsport Methodist Church, performed the double-ring ceremony. - Mr. and Mrs. Seneca Walker, of Bath, N. Y., were the attendants. - Victoria and Marlin Fanton, Mrs. Varney's children, were also present. Mrs. Varney is an employee of the Bath Westinghouse Tube Plant and Mr. Varney is employed by a building contractor. The newly-weds will reside in Bath, RD1, N. Y. Martha McCanns Aged Resident of Genesee Dies Service Tomorrow Afternoon. Mrs. Martha McCanns, of Genesee, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the age of 87. A resident of Genesee for several years, Mrs. McCanns is survived by - one son, William Strait, of Watertown, N. Y., and - a sister, Mrs. Lewis Slawson, Genesee. Friends may call at the Lloyd W. Kear Funeral Home in Ulysses, where services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with - the Rev. George R. Kingsley officiating. - Interment will be in the Genesee Cemetery.
